We stayed the night in the town of Eureka. We left this morning and continued north on highway 101. We came across some amazing redwoods big enough that we were actually able to stand inside of them!!! We also came across a herd of Elk lying in a field! We LOVE to see wildlife. We spent a bit of time on a beautiful but somewhat chilly beach in the morning where Mema and Briana were able to leave their marks. At around 2 this afternoon, we finally crossed the state line into Oregon. We headed up the coast about another 100 miles to the town of Coos Bay where we got a hotel room for the evening.
