This day was meant to be great. We woke up with the sun shining over Monterey Bay. First thing this morning we headed down to the world-famous Monterey Bay Aquarium. What an amazing place. After the aquarium we headed north along the coast through some absolutely beautiful coastal communities towards San Francisco. We saw our first light house today as well!!Around 3pm we arrived into San Fran. Well let's put it this way.....the hills freaked us ALL out!! Driving up some of them, all you saw was blue sky. It was seriously nerve-racking. Once we got a bit used to the streets we were able to calm down a bit and enjoy the views. This is one BEAUTIFUL city. We headed straight for the Fisherman's Wharf to Pier 39 to see the sea lions. Then we were off to the Ghiradelli Chocolate Square and across the Golden Gate Bridge. It sort of felt like we were in a movie. It didn't feel quite real. Once we crossed "the bridge", we went ahead and got a hotel room in Marin County for the evening. What a great day!!
